The Go Cryptographic Module has received validation under the Cryptographic Module Validation Program (CMVP), a joint effort between NIST and the Canadian Centre for Cyber Security. The module is a software library providing cryptographic functionality to the Go standard library and other Go applications. It operates in an approved mode with noted caveats around minimum strength assurances for generated and externally loaded security-sensitive parameters (SSPs) such as keys.
