credcheck v4.7, a PostgreSQL extension for enforcing credential policies during user creation, password changes, and role renaming, has been released. This version fixes bugs reported since the last release and introduces two new features: a `credcheck.superuser_nocheck` option and a `credcheck.disallow_password_change` setting that prevents users from changing their passwords. It also fixes a bug with `credcheck.password_valid_until` when called from a plpgsql block. An upgrade requires a PostgreSQL restart to reload the library.
