Snowflake's Cortex Analyst, currently in Public Preview, allows business users to interact with data using natural language. By employing a Semantic Model Generator built with Streamlit, users can easily create or edit semantic models from their Snowflake data. The tool provides functionalities such as creating a model from scratch, editing existing models, and incorporating partner data. Authentication support includes Username + Password, Duo MFA, and SSO via Okta. Once set up, the model can be refined, validated, and queried interactively, improving user data insights efficiently.
