An understatement if I ever heard one. “Musk is a notorious liar when it comes to timelines”, would be a more accurate statement.
In my opinion, Musk misses one critical detail: raw material on earth is not endless. Even with quasi unlimited energy (e.g., solar) and no labor costs, the world could not sustain Musk’s lifestyle for the majority of Earth’s population.
He would probably argue something about mining in space, but now we’re stacking hypotheticals.
