Microsoft is rolling out a new feature in the Copilot app on Windows that opens web links in a sidepane alongside conversations instead of a separate browser window. The sidepane gives Copilot contextual access to open tabs within a conversation, enabling users to ask questions, summarize content across tabs, and draft text. Tabs are saved with the conversation for later reference, and optional password/form data sync is available. The update (version 146.0.3856.39+) also brings performance improvements, adds Podcasts and Study and Learn mode from Copilot.com, and is rolling out to all Windows Insider channels.
