Claude Code's Remote Control feature lets you continue a local coding session from any device — phone, tablet, or another browser — without moving your environment to the cloud. The local Claude Code process keeps running on your machine, with full access to your filesystem, MCP servers, and project config. You connect via a session URL or QR code through claude.ai/code or the Claude mobile app. Sessions survive network interruptions and reconnect automatically. Security is handled via outbound-only HTTPS with short-lived credentials routed through the Anthropic API. Requires a Pro or Max plan. Key limitations include one remote connection per session and the terminal process must stay open.
