I use both, confluence at work and notion for personal use and while Notions is lacking compared to Confluence, I do prefer Notion to the point I prefer creating personal notes in Loop at work as Confluence is far too slow and interrupts my way of thinking when I need to stop and wait for it to populate the <code>/</code> commands when I need to add anything other than text.
Also, the amount of 3rd party templates for Notion has helped me greatly when I am wanting to do something new.

Once you learn how to use Notion, there is no going back. It can be a problem if you are dependent on it. The AI’s gotten better as well. Writing on it, too, has improved.

I really enjoy Notion, but I had problems with limited documents in the free plan, I barely made some docs and it already said I reached the limit :/ made me change to Overleaf. At work we use Confluence since we already use Trello and Jira

My problem with Atlassian’s peoducts is their complexity. They all are the most complete in the market, but they also require TONS of configuration to make it work as you expect.
Other solutions in the market may not have all the features that you want, but their focus on solving a problem makes them ready to use as soon as you create your account. No learning curve, almost no configuration.
To me this makes them win every time, even if they have less features and are more expensive. I want tools that solves my problems, not that creates problems.
