Committing to Windows

I like this post.
Personally, I come from a Windows/Android ecosystem, but for the last 2 years, I have been daily driving a MacBook Pro for my work (Docker, PHP, JavaScript…).
I have to say that since I’ve been using a MacBook, my dev experience has radically changed, and currently, I don’t think I can go back to a Windows machine for my job: no more problems with Docker (conflicts with filesystems) and PC heating, a better screen for font rendering (yes, I know, you wrote about that), great battery autonomy, and a great sound system.
I can’t find a Windows laptop under $2000 with similar specs and convenience as a MacBook.
And personally, I don’t care about iMessage, or other “Apple ecosystem nonsense”, today we have great tools that can sync our data between all the different OSes and machines: Google Photos, Signal/WhatsApp, Chrome/Firefox/Brave, Pocket…
You wrote a great post about that previously, and thanks a lot for your different posts, I find them enligthning :)

Just use Linux because Windows is junk and not made for development. Linux is better in every aspect.
