Unity AI Beta is gaining two new features: MCP (Model Context Protocol) support enabling external AI agents to take actions inside the Unity editor, and AI Gateway which lets developers bring their own API keys to use preferred AI models directly within the editor. MCP also allows Unity's assistant to reach out to external tools like Git from within the editor.
