As a reader, I need these posts to pop up on my feed everyday.

As a reader. I like this comic and followed this guy.

As someone mentioned in the in-link comments:
If we used the “user-story” voice to express our feelings it would go a long way to improve our emotional intelligence. Instead of reacting, we would just say “As X, when you do Y, I feel Z”.
It’s not perfect, but it’s a huge step forward from starting to scream and overreacting, because a lot of us lack the emotional intelligence to express our feelings.
And I get it… I really really do. It’s hard to say “I feel Z when you do Y”. It is really hard. You could ask yourself “How does &lt;your name&gt; feel?” and then either say “I feel Z when you do Y” or you could say “As X, when you do Y, I feel Z.”. Both work. The point is that the more we express our feelings, the better we get at understanding how we feel and the better we act with our peers.
I learned this from a bunch of podcasts on this topic. So I’m just spewing out the bottom line.
