(comic) Sales vs Implementation

Once I was implementation specialist for a Manufacturing software package written in a 4GL. The customer was really sold on the Forward Finite Scheduling capability. When I finally got to that point of the implementation started testing the function with the customer’s data (rather than test data). Same schedule as the test data every time - it was hard coded to demo well but not implemented. Had to write a module from scratch to avoid getting sued!
