Work Chronicles

A comic strip focused on the theme of employee satisfaction, crafted with love and fueled by plenty of coffee. The comic aims to provide a humorous take on workplace dynamics and employee morale.

(comic) Employee Satisfaction

This literally happened at a company where I worked. Employees kept giving extremely poor ratings on things like trust in top leadership, and the CEO decided to reframe this as 100% the fault of middle management (VPs and below) and told each one to come up with a plan to improve these scores in their departments or basically risk getting fired. What do you expect? Toxic leaders gonna tox.

I swear management is allergic to taking responsibility.

That’s why from some moment I decided to answer always in such way that I always choose most positive response ;-)
I was even trying to sell to other people, if we answer in bad way there is always action for management team “how to improve it”, and always comments from other countries “yeah, Polish people are always very critical”, but if we will answer in positive way there will be problem not for us, but for other offices “Why, you cannot be like Polish office, they had much better results” ;-)
