I have to say i don’t even disagree with that person.
Sometimes the data lies, for example the data might say that nobody is using mobile devices to access the platform, however it could be that users just don’t know how to use mobile or it might be that the mobile version is just shitty to use. It would be wrong to assume that users don’t want to use the mobile version, even if that could also be the case.
In this situation it would be best to get better data, but that might also not be possible and then i think deciding things based on data but also based on experience and gut feeling absolutely makes sense.
