Good thing is not another “great” idea like adding AI to everything…is it?

This happened to me so often that I had to speak out about it to my boss himself since he was the one doing it.
In the meeting he gives me instructions on how to build a feature of the API based on the UI they already did. I tell him it can not be done like that, things are missing, and the UI is incomplete, so I tell the what they need to add to the UI, and how it should be done on the back-end. The guy refuses to acknowledge my input, then he said he will come up with something.
Following day, meeting again, when explaining the solution he came up with, everything sound exactly like what I said the day before.
I am just a developer, but they rely so much on me for other fields in the company while having workers recruited for that and the pay is sh*t.

at any corporation this is the norm. there will always be someone with no shame who will gladly steal your ideas for their own benefit.
