Anthropic has made Claude for Excel, PowerPoint, and Word generally available, with Claude for Outlook entering public beta for all paid plans. The integration enables a single persistent conversation across all four Microsoft 365 apps, so context carries over as users move between tasks. Changes made in one app (e.g., Excel) automatically propagate to linked content in others (e.g., PowerPoint charts, Word memos). Claude for Outlook can triage inboxes, draft replies, and schedule calendar invites, with users reviewing everything before sending. Enterprise features include OpenTelemetry support for audit logging, an Analytics API, and the ability to route traffic through Amazon Bedrock, Google Cloud Vertex AI, or Microsoft Foundry. Microsoft 365 Copilot customers can also access Claude models directly within Excel and PowerPoint.
