Cohere launched North, an AI agent platform designed for private deployment to address enterprise data security concerns. Unlike cloud-based solutions, North can be installed on organizations' private infrastructure, including on-premise servers, hybrid clouds, or air-gapped environments, ensuring sensitive data never leaves the company's firewall. The platform offers standard AI agent features like chat, search, document creation, and integration with workplace tools, while meeting compliance standards like GDPR and SOC-2.
