Code scanning now allows configuring rulesets to prevent pull requests from being merged. The new `directories` key in `dependabot.yml` enables listing multiple directories for the same ecosystem configuration, reducing duplication and maintenance costs. Wildcards and globbing support are coming in future beta releases.
