A CNCF survey of 628 IT professionals reveals that 82% of organizations now run Kubernetes clusters in production, with 98% using some form of cloud-native technology. While adoption is widespread, cultural challenges (47%), lack of training (36%), and operational complexity remain significant barriers. Two-thirds of organizations are using Kubernetes for AI inference workloads, both in cloud and on-premises environments. The survey highlights that the industry has moved past adoption concerns and now faces challenges around maturity, skills development, and platform engineering practices.
