Cloudflare Email Service has entered public beta, providing developers with a complete bidirectional email infrastructure for building AI agents. Key features include a native Workers binding for sending transactional emails without API keys or secrets management, automatic SPF/DKIM/DMARC configuration, and full integration with the Agents SDK via an onEmail hook. New additions include an Email MCP server for agents like Claude Code and Cursor, Wrangler CLI email commands, a reusable skills file for coding agents, and an open-source Agentic Inbox reference app. The platform supports async agent workflows where agents can receive email, process data over time, persist state via Durable Objects, and reply asynchronously — enabling use cases like customer support agents, invoice processing, and multi-agent pipelines.
