<p>His argument: when your existing employees become dramatically more productive, you need fewer support staff around them. He also predicted Cloudflare will have more total employees by 2027 than at any point in 2026 — so this isn’t a company in decline, it’s one that thinks it can grow headcount back once it’s rebuilt around a smaller, AI-augmented core.</p>
