Cloudflare now supports Claude Managed Agents, enabling developers to run Anthropic's Claude agent logic while using Cloudflare's infrastructure for code execution, secure connectivity, and custom tooling. This decouples the agent's 'brain' (Anthropic orchestration) from its 'hands' (execution layer), giving enterprises control over their infrastructure for security, compliance, and performance. Features include sandbox controls, VM-based execution, private service access via Cloudflare Mesh and Workers VPC, browser session monitoring, and credential injection. Cloudflare, Daytona, Modal, and Vercel are among the first providers supporting this self-hosted sandbox model. An open-source deployment template is available on GitHub.
