ClickHouse Cloud is migrating its Google Cloud fleet from x86 N2D instances to Google Axion C4A (ARM-based) instances. Benchmarks show 30–55% faster ClickBench queries and ~15% fewer compute credits consumed across production workloads. A cohort of 38 migrated services confirmed the efficiency gains on real, diverse traffic. The migration is transparent to customers — no data movement or query changes required — and ClickHouse Cloud on Google Cloud now holds first place on the ClickBench combined ranking. The rollout is ongoing, with Axion expected to become the standard instance type for the platform.
