Claude Sonnet 4.6 is now available in Kiro

Claude Sonnet 4.6 is now integrated into Kiro IDE and CLI, offering near-Opus 4.6 intelligence with better token efficiency. The model excels at iterative development workflows, maintains context across long sessions, and handles both orchestrator and worker roles in multi-step agentic pipelines. Available as an experimental feature for Pro, Pro+, and Power customers in AWS US-East-1 and Europe regions with a 1.3x credit multiplier.
