A 60MB JavaScript source map file accidentally shipped publicly in a Claude Code update, exposing nearly 512,000 lines of TypeScript and revealing several unreleased features. The most notable is Kairos, an always-on autonomous AI agent that runs 24/7, proactively takes actions without user prompts, and can send push notifications, deliver files, and monitor GitHub pull requests. Another feature, Auto Dream, appears partially implemented. Two other features from the leak have since shipped: Ultraplan, which offloads complex planning to a cloud session running Opus 4.6, and Buddy, a Tamagotchi-style virtual pet easter egg that went live April 1st and was removed eight days later.
