Claude Code’s desktop app now lets you select DOM elements directly on the page rather than trying to describe which component you want changed.
When you click an element, Claude gets the tag, classes, key styles, surrounding HTML, and a cropped screenshot. For React apps, it also picks up the source file, component name, and props.
It’s a small workflow change that makes a real difference. Describing UI components in text is surprisingly awkward - “the blue button in the top-right of the card, not the modal card, the other one” - and now you just click the thing you mean.
