Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 by Sandfall Interactive dominated the 26th annual Game Developers Choice Awards at GDC 2026, winning five awards including Game of the Year, Best Debut, Best Visual Art, Best Narrative, and Best Audio. Blue Prince by Dogubomb took home the Innovation Award and Best Design. Special honors included a posthumous Ambassador Award for Interplay co-founder Rebecca Ann Heineman and a Lifetime Achievement Award for veteran designer Don Daglow.
