A Logicalis survey of 1,000 global tech leaders reveals that AI adoption is outpacing organizations' ability to manage it. Over half of CIOs (51%) believe AI is moving too fast, fewer than half have AI strategies aligned with business plans, and only 36% feel confident they have adequate guidance and best practices. Key challenges include a lack of internal technical skills (affecting ~90% of organizations), difficulty scaling beyond pilots, weak governance frameworks, and insufficient environmental impact measurement. Despite these concerns, 72% plan further AI investment in the next 12 months, with 60% targeting agentic AI. Many organizations also lack continuity plans if a key AI provider disappears, and 67% express concern about an AI bubble.
