GitLab 18.11 introduces two new AI agents for the Duo Agent Platform. The CI Expert Agent (beta) inspects repositories to auto-generate working CI/CD pipeline configurations in plain language, eliminating manual YAML setup. The Data Analyst Agent (GA) lets users query GitLab SDLC data — MR cycle times, pipeline health, deployment frequency — using natural language, returning instant visualizations without needing GLQL or dashboard requests. Both agents are context-aware because they run natively inside GitLab, covering GitLab.com, Self-Managed, and Dedicated tiers with Duo Agent Platform enabled.
