Google is launching a new appeals process for Chrome Web Store policy enforcements, integrated directly into the Developer Dashboard. Key improvements include pre-populated appeal data (Extension ID, violation details, contact info), automatic ownership validation via sign-in, account-first appeal logic (account suspensions must be resolved before item-level appeals), and duplicate appeal prevention. The change aims to give Trust & Safety reviewers full context upfront, leading to faster and more accurate decisions.
