Chrome 145 beta introduces experimental vertical tabs functionality behind a feature flag. Users can enable it by navigating to chrome://flags/#vertical-tabs, enabling the flag, relaunching Chrome, and selecting 'Move Tabs To The Side' from the tab bar context menu. The vertical tabs can be collapsed to a minimal form for a more compact interface.

Are they serious? The feature is available in Brave since May 2023.

I thought it’s the stable version, it’s only 144 as of this time of writing 🙃

Finally google can catch up to what Microsoft had done years ago, and of course the other browsers.
And KreekCraft won’t need to use extensions for vertical tabs anymore lol (if he uses chrome)

I had installed an extension for this before as I simply had without exaggeration at times hundreds of tabs in a window. Great to know it is native now.
