Cheer Games, a Barcelona-based mobile game studio founded by former AppLovin Lion Studios leads and creators of Hexa Sort, has raised $4.5 million in a pre-seed round led by Makers Fund with Play Ventures. The 11-person team plans to use the funding to accelerate game development and expand its Barcelona headquarters with new global talent. The studio aims to build long-lasting game franchises rather than chasing short-term industry trends.
