Checkmarx has revamped its Checkmarx One platform with an orchestration framework for managing five AI agents that automate vulnerability discovery, triage, and remediation across DevSecOps workflows. Two new agents handle vulnerability triage and AI-assisted code remediation, while a new AI asset discovery capability tracks models, agents, datasets, prompts, and AI-BOM components for policy enforcement. SAST and DAST tools have also been enhanced with AI to find vulnerabilities faster. The update responds to the growing volume of AI-generated code and the accelerating pace at which malicious actors exploit vulnerabilities, framing the situation as an AI arms race requiring machine-speed security responses combining deterministic rules and LLMs.
