OpenAI has added a Library tab to ChatGPT’s web sidebar, making it easier to find and reuse files you’ve previously uploaded or created.
The update includes a few practical additions: a recent files shortcut in the toolbar for quickly referencing past uploads mid-conversation, the ability to ask ChatGPT questions about files you’ve already shared, and the new Library tab itself for browsing your full file history.
It’s rolling out now for Plus, Pro, and Business users globally, with EEA, Switzerland, and UK users coming later.
