This only proves how much ChatGPT is drifting. It used to solve all of these with ease only a few months ago.

The real question what version of ChatGPT the paid version or free one

well i think if you keep passing the correct prompt related to the code it generated before which does not passed the test it will correct the mistake and will send you the correct code .
i also take help from it when i could not find issue in my leetcode submission . it always give me the possible correction .

Free GPT conflates documentation across languages and if a user were relying on its output without an understanding of the ecosystem in which it’s operating, there will be huge problems.
You can even correct it to the proper syntax and then re-prompt, where the same syntax error will recur.
I’m sure the paid is better but this issue is pervasive beyond programming prompts and is significant enough that I wouldn’t trust its output for years.
