There’s a very interesting balancing act going on here. The very concept of capitalism is threatened by AI so naturally the mega-rich want to delay it by trying all these scare tactics to make us try to fight and slow the coming AI revolution (this is impossible, but that’s another issue).
On the other hand, they HAVE to be thinking about ways they can benefit off this (since their minds understand one thing, greed). So they realize that it can destroy their enslavement of humanity but at the same time there’s SO much money to be made BEFORE that happens, that they can’t decide lol.
