Chainguard launched a Fulfillment Dashboard that shows which secure container image projects are being prioritized based on customer requests. The dashboard aims to improve planning by providing timelines and reducing duplicate requests. With over 2,000 secure container images available and 400+ customers, Chainguard addresses growing concerns about software supply chain vulnerabilities. Many organizations have a false sense of security with containers, as the encapsulated software often contains vulnerabilities from outdated components. Proactively using secure container images can prevent vulnerabilities before they reach production and slow down deployment cycles.
