Aikido Security has become AWS's first global security ISV partner for Kiro, AWS's new agentic development environment. As AI agents now generate 60-70% of code including infrastructure configs and dependency selections, traditional code review for security no longer scales. The integration embeds Aikido's security scanning directly into Kiro's agent workflow, automatically checking for vulnerabilities, exposed secrets, and insecure IaC configurations as code is generated. The goal is a 'self-securing development environment' where Kiro builds features and Aikido validates them in real time, eliminating the speed-vs-security trade-off.
