Canonical has released Workshop, a new Snap-based application for launching sandboxed development environments on Ubuntu with a single command. Environments are defined via YAML configuration files that can be copied across machines for reproducibility. Workshop supports SDKs like NVIDIA CUDA and AMD ROCm, and is built on top of Canonical's LXD technology.
