Hi, I’m a new developer (Flutter) and I’m currently facing an issue. For some of you, this might be easy but I can’t seem to figure it out. For the backend I use Firebase I have used the database and now I want to use FCM for notifications. But as much as I try to implement it doesn’t work. Talking about the app it’s a ticket management system I want to make a notification appear whenever a user creates a ticket. Can any of you provide me with a Solution?

To simplify this and with the info that you provided i suggest the following:
Make your notifications system detached and not frontend dependent. What i meant by that is do not send the notifications via an api call from the frontend when a ticket is created. And by detached i meant that also do not send the notification in the api call for creating the ticket since this will make your endpoints slow.
So you can do the following:
1- Collect the FCM token of the user and store it in the profile of the user.
2 - Create an onWrite trigger in your cloud-functions that monitors the tickets collection.
3- Once you receive an event, fetch the FCM tokens of the relevant users that need to be notified and push these messages or use a topic subscription and send the message to that topic.

Hey Guys, if we are not planing to go for Firebase , what is the best option for Push Notification that we can send from API in Flutter . I am talking about an option that is free forever also.

Hey, hope is not too late, and not sure is the solution you are looking for, but if you provide more info I can guide you or even provide code to do this.
As far as I know you can not send notifications from the client. What I do is a create an “callable” function in the server “Firebase functions” that receives the params to send: title, subtitle, img, … and does all the work.
Then in the app, in flutter you can get the notification and show it in app or create a custom native notification to show it.
Extra tip:
Make the actual method that sends the noti independent, so you can reuse it with different triggers, like send a noti after X time with a cron function or when a new event happens.
