Computing Community Consortium

The Computing Community Consortium (CCC) has launched a public discussion forum to gather community input on challenges facing the AI research ecosystem. Participants can rate various aspects like funding, peer review, academia-industry pipelines, and resource accessibility on a sliding scale to indicate which areas face the most pressure. Responses will inform virtual roundtables and a multi-day workshop, culminating in a public report with strategies to address identified challenges. The initiative, supported by the National Science Foundation, aims to ensure continued advancement of trustworthy and effective AI research guided by community needs.
