The Computing Community Consortium (CCC) is sponsoring the Blue Sky Ideas track at ICDM 2026 (IEEE International Conference on Data Mining), held November 12-15, 2026 in Shenyang, China. The track invites visionary research papers that propose bold, forward-looking ideas, expose gaps in current data mining research, or challenge prevailing assumptions. Submissions are limited to 4 pages in IEEE format and are due July 1, 2026. Accepted papers appear in conference workshop proceedings, and top submissions receive CCC-sponsored travel grants of $500–$1,000.
