Computing Community Consortium

The Computing Community Consortium (CCC) is sponsoring a Blue Sky Ideas Track at ACM ICMI 2026, the 28th International Conference on Multimodal Interaction, held in Napoli, Italy (October 5-9, 2026). The track invites visionary, high-risk research papers at the intersection of multimodal AI and social interaction, with this year's theme being 'Context and Cultural Awareness for Multimodal Interaction.' Submissions are limited to 4 pages, due May 8, 2026. CCC will award travel grants of $1,000, $750, and $500 to the top three papers. ACM's new Open Access policy applies, with subsidized APCs available for 2026.
