The Handheld Edition (targeting Steam Deck and Legion Go) switches from X11 to Wayland, replaces gamescope-session-plus with a custom fork enabling firmware updates, and swaps SDDM for the new Plasma Login Manager. Bcachefs has been removed from the installer's filesystem options due to its reliance on an out-of-tree DKMS kernel module.
