CachyOS: Arch Linux for All?

Hey there. I was just reading about <a href="https://techrechard.com/download-cachyos-iso" target="_blank" rel="noopener nofollow">this</a> yesterday, and I got caught up learning about Arch Linux. I’ve used Ubuntu and Fedora as my workstations, and I’m planning to try RHEL for Workstation as well. But I figured that Arch and Gentoo are the two distributions I haven’t explored yet. I did some research on Arch and checked into how many hours or days it would take to set up a fully working desktop. Then I came across CachyOS, which I believe could be a real game-changer.

I’ve been using CachyOS for about 3 months now and so far no major problems. Seems far more stable and well optimzed than “pure Arch”. Mostly only had Wayland problems, but that’s not distro-specific.

It’s difficult that something focosued in just being faster get tracktion over some others stable distros. I consider that nixOS would be more dominant than cachyOS in the serve spectre

used mint for years but made the jump to cachy a few months back. so far so good. i’m not a serious power user but it, to me, feels a lot more punchy/fast.

The cool thing is you can get their kernel on many linux distros via package manager.
