Burn through the backlog from hell with /triage

A walkthrough of a custom '/triage' skill for AI coding agents that helps teams manage GitHub issue backlogs. The skill implements a state machine via labels, with two category roles (bug, enhancement) and five state roles (needs triage, needs info, ready for agent, needs human, won't fix). Each issue must carry exactly one category and one state label. The workflow lets developers use Claude to automatically label untriaged issues, review them, reproduce bugs using a diagnose skill, and mark them 'ready for agent' with a written brief so AFK agents can autonomously pick up and implement tasks. An out-of-scope directory acts as architectural decision records to help the agent reject irrelevant enhancement requests automatically.
