Building telemetry for tea aka Tealemetry

The author shares their experience designing and building a smart tea coaster, called Tealemetry, which measures the temperature of a tea mug to ensure optimal drinking conditions. The device uses an ESP8266 microcontroller, a temperature sensor, and a 3D printed coaster. It exports temperature data in Prometheus format, allowing the author to monitor and receive alerts through Grafana and Discord about the tea's drinkability.
