Building GitHuman: An AI-Coded Tool for Reviewing AI Code

GitHuman is a local-first tool that enables developers to review AI-generated code changes before committing, rather than after pushing. It provides a GitHub-style diff viewer with syntax highlighting, inline comments, file navigation, and mobile support. The tool was entirely written by Claude Code but every commit was human-reviewed using GitHuman itself. It runs locally via npx, requires no cloud services, and moves the code review checkpoint from the PR stage to the staging area.
