A walkthrough of five techniques for building professional-looking websites using Claude Code in VS Code. The hacks include: using a CLAUDE.md system prompt file, installing the front-end design skill for better UI output, enabling a Puppeteer-based screenshot loop so Claude can visually review and iterate on its own output, cloning reference websites by providing screenshots and CSS, and pulling individual UI components from sites like 21st.dev. The workflow concludes with deploying the finished site via GitHub and Vercel, including setting up auto-deploy so pushing changes from Claude Code updates the live site automatically.
