I spent the weekend learning about Pinecone’s Assistants, and built a chat app with RAG using data from Google Drive. Using Pinecone’s Python SDK in Google Colab, I was able to loop over docs in a drive folder and upload them to the assistant, then begin chatting with my docs!
Pinecone handles all the embedding and indexing details for you. Just upload a few files and the assistant will begin using them for retrieval augmented generation with each new prompt.
