A real-world walkthrough of building a feature using Claude Code as an AI coding assistant. The author demonstrates their full workflow: starting with a 'grill me' session to flesh out requirements for ghost courses and improved lesson management, generating a PRD, breaking it into GitHub issues, running an AFK agent loop to implement the changes, and doing QA while the agent fixes bugs in parallel. Key practices shown include maintaining a ubiquitous language document (inspired by Domain-Driven Design), delegating implementation to AI while focusing on architecture and interfaces, and using a 'day shift / night shift' model where humans define requirements and AI implements them asynchronously.
